A holiday at Chivasuka is for anyone who wishes to make that transformation to a well-balanced happy and healthy life.
Our different plans suit different motivations such as:
What your motivation may be, we are here to help you to achieve your goal.
Nourishing the body and mind is fundamental for a balanced life.
Scientists agree that a plant-based diet helps the body maintain itself, prevent common diseases like coronary diseases, diabetes and cancer. Research has shown that it can reverse these conditions. Introducing plant-based wholefood meals to your diet will give a great start to a healthier and happy life.
The mind, as the body, needs to be taken care of. A few mindful moments a day will already help to get a calmer more peaceful mind, and, together with a healthy body achieve that overall well-balanced state.
Raw Food can be any uncooked and unprocessed food. Our philosophy at Chivasuka is that ideally about 80% of what you eat should be raw to optimize your health by alkalizing your body. We prepare plant based Raw whole-food and slow cooked dishes that have not been heated above 42°C. It is believed that foods cooked below this temperature will keep their nutritional value. Raw foods have natural enzymes, which are critical in breaking down food, building proteins and rebuilding the body. Warming these living foods to a maximum of 42°C will save these natural enzymes.
Raw Food contains an abundance of nutrients that revitalize the body. After adding more Raw Food to your diet you may soon experience that wonderful energetic feeling. Besides improving overall health, it may help you to better focus, make your skin radiant and your hair shiny. It is also a healthy way to lose those extra pounds. You can glow inside and out!
Everyone is unique. The plan of your choice will therefore be personalized to your needs. Upon your arrival at Chivasuka, a personal meeting is arranged with the nutritionist or detox specialist for an assessment. Your program, that will help you reach your goal, will be presented. Before your departure a follow-up plan to keep you on track will be discussed. Once you are back home we are still available for any questions or advice.
In general a day at Chivasuka begins with a healthy detox drink. In your villa we will serve you a fresh morning juice after which you are invited for breakfast. At midday lunch will be waiting for you. In the late afternoon while enjoying the sunset an aperitif with a tasty bite will be served. When you are ready our chef will surprise you with his latest dinner creation. During the day you can enjoy a treatment or activity of your choice. Or simply relax in our cozy lounge area or in the comfort of your private villa.
Light breathing clothes are suitable for Curacao weather. Also bring your sunglasses, hat or cap, swimsuit/trunk, comfortable clothes for yoga or fitness and sturdy shoes to hike.
If you are on medication, prepare enough for your stay as well as a prescription in case you need to get more during your stay.
Yes, strong WIFI is available throughout the park. However, we do recommend limiting your use to max 1 hour per day. We understand it may be necessary to be in touch with family or business. But use of computers and handphones will interfere with your progress and reaching your goal, the purpose of your stay.
Biofeedback is a treatment technique in which people are trained to improve their health by using signals from their own bodies. Specialists in many different fields use biofeedback to help their patients with many conditions including coping with pain, regaining body mobility and controlling stress.
Biofeedback has been used for a long time. Think of when you have taken your temperature or stepped on a scale. The thermometer tells you whether you’re running a fever, the scale whether you’ve gained weight. Both devices “feedback” information about your body’s condition. Armed with this information, you can take steps you’ve learned to improve the condition. When you’re running a fever, you go to bed and drink plenty of fluids. When you’ve gained weight, you resolve to eat less and sometimes you do.
The colon cleanse has been used throughout history to improve the body’s natural detoxification processes, restore digestive health and improve someone’s overall quality of life. In fact, the use of water to cleanse tissue throughout the colon, called “colon lavage,” has been practiced since as early as 1500 B.C. in ancient Egypt.
What’s the purpose of cleansing your colon? To flush out built-up waste stored by rehydrating old stool that’s become impacted. Most colon cleanses use water to infiltrate hardened stool and loosen it up so it can be passed more easily.
The ultimate goal of a colon cleanse is to help the digestive organs do their job in the best way possible, managing things that get in the way and interfere with normal bowel functions.
Where a colon cleanse is meant to clean out the whole colon, an enema only works in the last traject, the descending colon. It can be done with water, but an effective enema is made of coffee.
Coffee enemas are known to help flush out bacteria, heavy metals, fungus and yeast (like those responsible for candida symptoms, for example) from the digestive tract, including the liver and colon, while also lowering inflammation — therefore helping people restore bowel function, increase their energy levels and heal from disorders that have caused them trouble for years.
A brush made with firm natural bristles is used to brush the dry skin, preferably before taking a shower.
Dry skin brushing stimulates your lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification; when your lymphatic system is not working properly, waste and toxins can build up and make you sick.
Dry skin brushing also boosts your circulation, exfoliates your skin, may reduce cellulite, and offers both stress relief and invigoration.
It is estimated that every day we encounter between 80,000 and 15,000 toxins. Our liver is not designed to deal with this many, leaving an accumulating amount stored in our body.
We cannot control all pollution, but we can minimize the ones our household products and body care that we use. Our skin is our largest organ. It has a great ability to absorb quickly, good things but also the bad ones. It is therefore important to make sure our body care products are all natural and as organic as can be. If we cannot eat it we should not put it on our skin.
